momstown mamas have been there, done that when it comes to travelling with kids. Whether it's a first plane trip, a road trip with the entire family, or just a jaunt to a nearby hotel, it never hurts to have a few tricks up your sleeve (or in your purse!) when making a journey to remember.

Travelling by Plane?
Check out these ingenious check bags by Prince Lionheart. One houses your carseat (a pain to bring, but cheaper than renting them!) and the other keeps your stroller from getting damaged or wet enroute to the cargo hold.
To keep little ones occupied, art supplies are a hit, as are travel size card games like Scrabble Slam! available at Walmart.
Travelling by Car?

momstown recommends a cheap-and-cheerful Umbrella Stroller like this one from Cosco. Inexpensive enough that you're not fussing about it, and compact enough to fit in a rental car trunk and pull out when the need for a nap or rest strikes.
